Genotyping for MMRRC#14246 was performed on ONE transgene positive male mouse that was three generations backcrossed onto C57BL/6J relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and SJL-J(Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 97.91% C57BL/6J. Based on the single sample that was genotyped, the genetic background of this line is not fixed and contains multiple segregating SJL-J intervals representing 2.09% of the genome. The transgene could be integrated on the heterozygous regions on chromosome 6and/ or 7. The strain background for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
