Genotyping for MMRRC#34255 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. The SDS indicates that the ES cells used to derive the mutation were R1 (129S1/129X1) and the current backround is 129 (substrain unspecified). When compared to 129S1 (Reference 1) and 129X1 (Reference 2) genotypes, MegaMUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 93.88% 129S1. A 77.63Mb interval heterozygous for 129S1 and 129X1 markers was identified on chromosome 17, spanning the Spast locus. In this one sample, heterozygous intervals were identified on Chromosomes 7 and 14. Adjacent unknown regions corresponded to a heterozygous C57Bl/6J haplotype when compared to other common 129 references and C57Bl/6J.
