Genotyping for MMRRC#421 was performed on ONE homozygous male mouse. This mouse was maintained in a homozygous state by intercrossing for more than six generations within the strain relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129S7(Ab2.2) (Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 99.4% C57BL/6J, 0.4% 129S7, with an additional heterozygous region (0.1%) seqregating for 129S7 markers. A 10.79Mb interval homozygous for 129S7 markers was identified on chromosome 9, spanning the Chrna locus. Genotyping for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
