Connecting to the comp411 server bdvyas / Version 1

A lot of students had issues connecting to comp411.cs.unc.edu today to perform their labs. The best way to ensure you will be able to connect is to set up a connection to the UNC-PSK network. If you are connected to UNC-PSK, you will be able to connect to the server without any connection problems.

http://help.unc.edu/help/connecting-to-the-unc-wireless-network/

Navigate to the above page, and click on the 'UNC-PSK' option. It has an in-detail, step-by-step guide (with pictures) on how to connect to the UNC-PSK network.

Alternatively, if you have any sort of problems with this, visit either TA's office hours during the week and they can help you get set up. This is important so you can be prepared for the next lab by Friday.
