The Final Exam will be held on Tuesday, April 29 from 8am to noon in Sitterson 014.

March 27, 2008
The second Quiz will be held on April 15, and will cover all material up to April 1.

Febuary 19, 2008
I need to cancel today's office hours, but I will replace them with extra hours tomorrow from 9am-10am, and 2pm-3pm.

The first Quiz will be held on 2/26/08. It will cover up to lecture 8, and be open book, open note, and no computer.

Febuary 3, 2008
Due to popular demand, I have added extra office hours on Monday from 2pm-4pm. Also, I need to leave promptly at 3pm on Tuesdays.

Welcome to Comp 101! Check back here regularly for course updates and news. For now you can download the course syllabus. We will hold our first class meeting on 1/10 in SN014 from 9:30am to 10:45am.

Best 4 of 5 project-problem sets:
40%
2 Quizzes:
30%
Final Exam:
30%

Project/Problem sets will be due at the specified class meeting (before lecture). You will have at least two weeks to complete each set. Late problem sets will be penalized as follows:

Lectures Late
Max Score
1 = 70%
2 = 50%
3 = 35%
>3 = 0%
The lowest project/problem-set scores will be dropped. No homeworks will be due on the week of a quiz.

I will attempt to put all course materials online before class. Bring your laptop if you want to follow along.
