Genotyping for MMRRC#116992 was performed on ONE transgene positive male mouse that was 10 generations backcrossed onto C57BL/6J relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator.  When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and C3H/HeJ(Reference 2) genotypes, MegaMUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 99.48% C57BL/6J.  Based on the single sample that was genotyped, the There is only one 13.42Mb C3H/HeJ interval segregating on Chromosome 2 that may contain the transgene insertion site.  The strain background for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
