Genotyping for MMRRC#11625 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was backcrossed 3 generations onto C57BL/6J relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129P2/OlaHsd (Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 94.73% C57BL/6J and 5.27% heterozygous for reference markers including the region on Chromosome 9 that contains the Gria4 heterozygous mutation. The strain background for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet and based on the single sample that was genotyped, the genetic background of this line is not fixed and contains at least one additional segregating region on Chromosome 7.
