Genotyping for MMRRC#11530 was performed on ONE homozygous male mouse. This mouse was derived by two generations of intrastrain crosses relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. As indicated on the strain detail sheet, the genetic background of the mouse that was genotyped was heterogeneous with 43% homozyous for C57BL/6J (Reference 1) markers, 22% homozygous for 129X1 markers and 33% composed of segregating heterozygous regions. The homozygous Hbegf mutation is present in a 10.24Mb interval on chromosome 18, spanning the Hb-egf locus.
