Genotyping for MMRRC#200 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was one generation backcrossed onto C57BL/6J strain relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129X1(Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 98.42% C57BL/6J. A 5.8Mb interval heterozygous for 129X1markers was identified on chromosome 3, spanning the Prkacb locus. One additional heterozygous interval was identified as segrating in this sample. Genotyping was consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet, and also provides more information on the level of inbreeding for the strain.
