Genotyping for MMRRC#34767 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C3H/HeJ (Reference 1) and C57BL/6J (Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 99.74% C3H/HeJ. A single 6.78Mb interval heterozygous for C57BL/6J markers was identified on Chromosome 16 spanning the Opa-1 locus. Genotyping for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet and provides more information on the homogeneity of the background. Based on the single sample that was genotyped, the genetic background of this line appears to be fixed.
