Genotyping for MMRRC#34625 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was originally submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. This sample was compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129P2/OlaHsd (Reference 2) genotypes. MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 99.89% C57BL/6J. A 2.77Mb interval heterozygous for 129P2/OlaHsd markers was identified at the distal tip of chromosome 10, spanning the Ptges3 locus . Genotyping for this one sample indicates that the background is fixed and provides additional information regarding the homogeneity of the background.
