Genotyping for MMRRC#31871 was performed on ONE homozygous male mouse that was three generations intracrossed within the strain relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. The origin of the ES cells used to create the line was not disclosed, so 129S6 was used as a default for reference 2. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129S6 (Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 98.9% C57BL/6J. A single 21.59Mb interval homozygous for 129S6/SvImJ markers was identified on chromosome 15, spanning the Grina locus. Based on the single sample genotyped, two additional phased heterozygous intervals were identified on chromosomes 2 and 6. Genotyping for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
