Genotyping for MMRRC#15230 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was five generations backcrossed onto C57BL/6J relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129S4(Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 85.82% C57BL/6J. Based on the single sample that was genotyped, the genetic background of this line is not fixed and contains multiple segregating regions, including a 10.41Mb 129S4 heterozygous interval spanning the F2r2l locus on Chromosome 13. The mixed strain background for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
