Genotyping for MMRRC#16998 was performed on ONE heterozygous male mouse that was one generation backcrossed onto C57BL/6J relative to the original mice submitted to the MMRRC-UNC archive by the donating investigator. When compared to C57BL/6J (Reference 1) and 129S6 (Reference 2) genotypes, MUGA genotyping indicated that the strain background was 77.32% C57BL/6J. Based on the single sample that was genotyped, the genetic background of this line is not fixed and contains multiple 129S6 heterozygous intervals segregating in the genome. TheMyh10 locus is located within a 72.37Mb heterozygous interval on chromosome 11. The strain background for this sample is consistent with the information provided by the donating investigator on the strain detail sheet.
